The deadline is set for selection on Monday. One by one hopefuls are meeting the President Donald Trump, before he announces his selection on Monday. Trump is intelligent, the retirement of Justice Anthony Kennedy, has given Trump his second Supreme Court vacancy. Trump is a Rightist, last year he selected Justice Neil Gorsuch, the Conservative Rightist.
Now with four liberals and four conservative right, by appointing a conservative in place of Justice Kennedy, it would serve as a Swing Vote.
The American Supreme Court would conveniently tilt to the right for next 30/40 years, much beyond the tenure of President Trump. Trump has probably made up his mind to pick Justice Amy Coney Barrett, a 46 year, mother of 7. A woman with solid conservative credentials, a young Judge and a woman, will serve in the American Supreme Court, if selected; for decades, because of her young age.

There is also an Indian, a son of Indian American parents, 49 years old, Justice Amul Thaper in the race. Though he stands no chance whatsoever.
