Saint mother Teresa Charity Foundation, Missionaries of Charity Ranchi, has been caught involved in criminal racket of selling new born babies of the tribals, in Ranchi. Many Nuns and staff of this Missionary have been arrested by the Jharkhand Police.
During investigation it has been found that during the year 2015 and 2018 450 pregnant tribal woman were admitted to their Missionary Hospital for delivery in Ranchi, but there is record maintained of only 170 babies by them. The missing record and whereabouts of 280 babies, the Mother Teresa Charity Foundation is unable to explain.
The staff nurses of their Missionary Hospital have confessed to the Police of the baby selling by the Nuns.
