First and foremost,it should be absolutely clear to everyone that the original PPO, which is officially received on Superannuation/PMR,gives the retiree's and his spouse's complete details,including their Date of Birth.This veterans is an authentic personal and financial legal valid document in the veterans hand.Everyone should know and be aware that nothing can be amended or changed by anyone on this paper.Any change whatsoever can only be done, through legal sanction from the Court of Law.The role and scope of any military appointment, howsoever Senior he may be, or for that matter of District Sainik Board,can only be advisory, they cannot change or amend anything on the original PPO.Please don't place your family into any legal tangle, by any foolish action of amendment and change. Your such actions can get your family into serious legal and financial tangle behind you.
Another, very important fact which most may not be/generally not aware is,the Army,Navy and Air Force Headquarters destroy all your personal and other documents after 15 years of your retirement from service. Therefore forwarding any papers, documents financial and personal are just a trash with them after this period.
After retirement your bankers are the only authorised entity to deal with any of your financial query and issue, the main cause of worry and unnecessary tension in most veterans.It should be very clear to every veteran that even PCDA pension has minimal role and scope in changing anything, unless you get a Court Order.Therefore unnecessarily don't constantly tamper with your financial details.
The only legal papers and documents you should worry about and which should be known to your Spouse and Children's is your original PPO,Legal Will bequeathing everything to your Spouse,your Service Book and PPO mentioning your Spouse as your Next of Kin.
There are time to time corrigendum issued on your original PPO, the latest one being the E-PPO, these are just informatory,just for your knowledge only.These are actionable at your bankers level only. No action whatsoever is required to be taken by any veterans. No need to worry of its copy, unless it is posted officially directly to you, if need be copies can be requested from the Bank for your personal records.Kindly do not start forwarding corrections and amendments based on your perception of these Corrigendum/E-PPO, all over. Your such action can be detrimental to your officially received valid legal PPO.
We receive pension as per GOI pension rules, which each banker diligently adhere and follow, your actions based on your personal perception and knowledge is not going to enhance your pension amount. All corrections are done across the board and not on individual letters and correspondences.
If any veteran still persists with some doubt, kindly visit your bank tomorrow and directly clarify from the Bank Manager, as to what your Spouse is supposed to do, if you die today? Now if your pension account and infact all your bank accounts, all over and wherever are jointly held with your Spouse;All your properties movable and immovable are co-owned and jointly held, than only Death Certificate would be required to be submitted.

The Warships from the United States Navy,the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force,the Philippines Navy,and the Indian Navy for the first time demonstrated their serious presence in that region.

India-China Standoff in Ladakh.
The Galwan Valley and Pangong Tso Lake.

Indian and Chinese troops appear to be heading towards a very serious Face-Off in several areas along the Line of Actual Control(LAC).
The Indian Army has increased its Military Strength in Pangong Tso and Galwan Valley,the two most extremely contentious areas today between the two nuclear powers and are resorting to aggressive patrolling in several very sensitive areas including Demchok and Daulat Beg Oldi.
Since the time BJP and Modiji has come into power,the military infrastructure and hard black top wide roads have been built till the LAC in Ladakh.In these two areas of dispute,the Chinese does not enjoy a good approachable road network.
Over approximately past 10 days,on large part of Galwan valley which includes a portion of Ladakh region;the Chinese troops have entered about 4 km inside the Indian territory.The Galwan valley was an area of stiff standoff during the 1962 war with China.The Indian Army Combat Troops have also been moved in heavy strength and have deployed themselves very close in front and in eyeball to eyeball contact with the Chinese.It is an high altitude difficult area,and the situation is explosively very tense between the two Armies.It is assessed that the Chinese are preparing to lay claim on this area including portion of Ladakh;and make things difficult for India internationally.There are presumably 5,000-10,000 Chinese troops in that area today.The Galwan valley has the Galwan river flowing from the disputed Aksai Chin Region,a largely barren area extending from Ladakh to Xinjiang Region of China.
The most beautiful landscape, where I happen to serve at height nearing and ranging from 15000 to 19000 ft.

The Importance of Pangong Tso Lake.
I happen to camp for months near this lake as my military deployment. the interesting landmark near the lake is one Garnet Hill, a high altitude mountain, made of pure Garnet Gemstones.The entire mountain shines and glitters like stars during Sunshine,as Garnets are precious Gemstones.These gemstones have been collected by me from that area in plenty as souvenir, to form part of memory of my days in that most beautiful place.
This has always been the flash point area between the two armies.it is the longest lake,approximately 135 km long spread over 604 sq km in boomerang shape and is 6-10 wide;it is the biggest high altitude lake in the world,almost like huge big sea.The lake is lifeless and you cannot drink it's water.
Chinese have Warships and Gunboats deployed here.
The recent incidents of conflict between the two powerful nation involved a show of force and projection by using Helicopters,Fighter Jets,Gunboats,Fistfights and Injurious,a straight out of blockbuster James Bond movie.
The disputed LAC is 3488 km long for India,but the Chinese only recognise 2000 km of LAC.
The strategic value and importance of this lake is,it gives the Chinese the path of Chushul Approach for any offensive into India.

This Time Dragon's Neck Will Be In Tigers Jaw.

Col Ashutosh Sharma SM bar, always told his wife, when asked "When would he come on leave"? His answer every time used to be "The day I complete my Combat Operations, the very next day". The braveheart has kept his promise to his strong and brave wife Mrs Pallavi Sharma. He is arriving the next day, that is today, as promised, he would be reaching his dear wife. But this time unfortunately wrapped in Tricolor.
The story of Maj Anuj Sood, the brave young Officer, with a promising future in the Army; is also extremely painful. He was just 4 months into marriage and had already completed his tenure with the RR battalion.The Officer was stuck to overstay due to the National Lock Down.
Ladies and Gentlemen the loss is too huge and big, the pain too palpable and evident in each and every heart of the Nation, without requirement of much explanation.
The loss for their family is irreparable and irreplaceable and now they are also faced with an extremely very difficult life to live.

The space which is usually occupied by the President, PM and the other important dignitaries of the Nation.The space reserved and observed during National level important events like 26 Jan and 15 Aug.
Today the entire India across the length and breadth of the country,across the board and by public for and against were awaiting with breathtaking excitement the arrival of Army Navy and IAF and their presence and performance at National level.They were waiting to observe the Combat Fighters Aircraft Flypast.They were waiting for Flypast by mammoth Indian Combat Transport Aircraft Fleet.They were waiting to observe for the first time the menacing Helicopter Fleet of the IAF and the Indian Army.
The Corona Warriors of India were for the first time being given the National Accolade by anyone as Brave as The Indian Armed Forces.
