"ASAT(W)'S" Missile successfully tested on 27 March 2019
PM Modiji in another surprise address to the Nation on 29 march 2019 at approximately 1230 hours declared and dedicated to the Nation, India"s New Space Warefare capability(ASAT(W)S), and achievement.
India's DRDO's military scientists demonstrated at about 1230 hours on 27 march 2019, India's Space Warfare Capability by launching a ASAT missile and destroying LEO( Low Earth Orbit) Satellite, orbiting in the outer space, at a distance of 300 km from the earth; completing the kill in just 3 minutes from the launch of the missile. This new space warfare achievement of India does not violate any existing International Laws/Norms; of destroying military spacecrafts of the adversary operating in the outer space; detrimental to our National Interest.
This technology is held with only three military space super power countries( US, Russian's & China) of the world.
India with this outer space warfare capability is now the fourth nation to have successfully tested and demonstrated to the world of her capability to destroy enemy Anti-India activity satellites in the outer space and also now have the power to protect her own satellites from any enemy action hereafter.
